Patricia McCauley, R. Ph., PharmD

Staff Pharmacist

Patricia believes that her role as a pharmacist is not just to prescribe medications, but to dispense knowledge, wisdom and caring to the community she serves. As a child growing up, Patricia McCauley had a close family member with severe health issues. She always remembers how helpful the local pharmacy was, and how they worked with physicians to make life easier for her family. Today, her approach is to emulate the childhood pharmacist that inspired her career –treating patients with dignity, respect, and understanding.

A pharmacist for more than a decade, Patricia is a long-term resident of the Finger Lakes region. She has supervised the daily operations of pharmacies in Elmira, Naples, Pen Yann, and at the largest food market in Geneva. She has also been a mentor to pharmacy interns from St. John Fisher College, the University of Buffalo, and the Albany College of Pharmacy, where she earned her PharmD. She has worked with physicians in immunizing residents against the flu and H1N1, and is on the board of a local hospice house. /p>
